Getting Started

Use this section when setting up Sprinkle workflows for the first time, or when handing the system to a new operator.

Before You Start

Confirm these prerequisites:

  • WooCommerce is installed and active.
  • You have admin or store-manager access to WordPress.
  • You can open Sprinkle menu items in wp-admin.
  • Core migration/system checks are healthy in System → Health Checks.

First 30-Minute Setup Path

Follow this order:

  1. Open Sprinkle Main Page and review alerts.
  2. Go to System
    • Run Setup Wizard
    • Verify lookup status
    • Resolve any failing health checks
  3. Go to WooCommerce Wholesale Settings
    • Review approvals and notification settings
    • Confirm license state
  4. Go to B2B Pricing
    • Create or validate tiers
    • Verify MOQ / volume rules
    • Confirm warehouse and lookup readiness
  5. Go to B2B Customers
    • Create first company
    • Add members / invitations
    • Assign role templates and sales rep
  6. Go to Orders Quotes and Contracts
    • Verify quotes / contracts queues
    • Test Fast Order with sample SKUs
  7. Go to Approvals
    • Verify pending queue visibility
    • Confirm assignment / approval paths for your team

Quick Validation Checklist

Run one end-to-end sanity test:

  • Create a test company and test member.
  • Assign tier and confirm product pricing visibility.
  • Submit a quote or contract request.
  • Approve it from approvals queue.
  • Convert to order (or add via Fast Order) and confirm checkout flow.
  • Verify company-linked order visibility in Orders (Company View).

Daily Start Routine

For ongoing operations, start each day in this order:

  1. Sprinkle Main Page for alerts and KPIs.
  2. Approvals for stale or pending decisions.
  3. Orders Quotes and Contracts for quote, contract, and order triage.
  4. System only if there are lookup or health warnings.
